Application Overview
To begin the separation process so that cream and fat is removed from raw milk, the milk is warmed and then agitated in a centrifuge. Next the milk is standardized by mixing back in cream or skim milk to achieve the desired fat content. Point level measurement monitors separated solid particles, and pressure measurement ensures the uniformity and standardization of the milk product.
The Delta Controls Benefit
- Application specific design maximizes measurement accuracy and meets sanitary requirements
- Simple installation and setting adjustments available on onboard menus or HART¨ controller
- Available temperature measurement feature provides additional monitoring through one sensor
