Certification Updates

Delta Controls is pleased to announce the following product enhancements for Models HTS, HTV and HTX thermocouples:

• Completion of product certifications for the Model HTS and HTV thermocouples. Both products have received IECEX and ATEX hazardous area certifications.
• The Model HTX has increased its T rating from T2 to T3. Model HTX is now certified to the latest standard editions.

Now Models HTS, HTV, and HTX thermocouples are certified to the following: 

II 2 G Ex db IIB+H2 T3 Gb
Class 1 Zone 1, AEx db IIB + H2 T3 Gb
Ta = -40°C to +80°C

Ex db IIB+H2 T3 Gb
Ta = -40° to +80°C

IECEx: IEC 60079-0:2017 Ed. 7; IEC 60079-1:2014 Ed. 7
ATEX: EN 60079-0:2018; EN 60079-1:2014

This is a third party hazardous area certification change.  The referenced changes have no effect on the products’ form or fit. The EU declaration of conformity and IECEX certificate of compliance are available upon request.
