Operation: A float is carried up and down by variations in liquid level or interface position.
                     One or more switch actions occur at selected level positions.

  • Uses: Provide high or low level alarm or interface position
  • Insertion: Up to 10 feet (3m) below the flange face
  • Switch Action: Single point
  • Specific Gravity: From 0.35 to 2.40 SGU
  • Temperature: From –150 to 750°F (-100 to +400° C)
  • Pressure: From –15 to 1200 PSIG (-1 to +80 BAR)

Delta Controls Multiswitch Models 710 and 711

  • Uses: Provide high and / or low level alarm, pump control, etc.
  • Insertion: Up to 10 feet below the flange face
  • Switch Action: From 1 to 4 points of alarm and/or differential; up to 60" differential available with Type 711
  • Specific Gravity: From 0.35 to 2.40 SGU
  • Temperature: From –150 to 750°F (-100 to +400° C)
  • Pressure: From –15 to 1200 PSIG (-1 to +80 BAR)

TOP INSERTED DISPLACER ACTUATED LEVEL SWITCHES

Operation: The weight of a displacer is supported by a spring. Variations in liquid level cause the displacer to move up and down. Switching action occurs as the level passes each displacer.

Operation: A solid displacer or heavy-duty float is supported by a pivot shaft and counterweight. Single point alarm switching action occurs as the liquid level or interface position crosses the center line of the body.
Uses: High and low alarm for level, interface position, and sequencing

  • Operation: A counterweighted horizontal pivoting element operates an output switch as the liquid level or interface crosses the body centerline.
  • Uses: Steam drums, condensate trap drains, Dowtherm®, etc.
  • Switch Action: Single point alarm

  • Interface Differential: 0.1 unit minimum
