Description

The Model 825S is a remote unit that communicates with one or more Model 831 sounding level transmitters over an RS-485 wire pair. The Model 825 is used to display, setup, and calibrate the operating variables of up to 30 sounding type transmitters.

The Model 825S allows remote access to all the information and calibration adjustments that are accessible through the sounding unit's integral display and keyboard. It does all this WITHOUT THE NEED TO CLIMB THE TANK. Its 4 line LCD display also provides additional information such as tank name, descriptions of parameters, diagnostic status of transmitters, units of measure, etc.

The Model 825S works by listening to the periodic broadcasts of each Model 831 field transmitter. It interprets these broadcasts and displays the information when called for. It can also send data and priority commands back to the field units for tests, calibration, setup, and to trigger sounding measurements.
